Have you seen the cost of Sterling Silver these days?! No, I do not-only because wow has it skyrocketed since I started making jewelry that’s just not something I am comfortable selling as it would jump my price point substantially. It is important to me that my creations are affordable and accessible. What is the point of making all the pretty things if they cost too much for people to enjoy? Maybe one day I will circle back to working with Sterling, but not right now.

Mostly everything I make is made from silverplated silverware and trays. But I will incorporate recycled copper and brass when I have it. I do use some stainless steel on some items. Windchimes will be a mix of stainless steel and silverplate due to varying sound. Plus, I’ve collected some really retro-looking stainless-steel silverware that I couldn’t help making into a ring or bracelet. I will indicate the metal type in the description especially if it’s not silverplated.
